Experiences Chess
in the 'Isla de Menorca' School This project is the result of the interest of a work group composed of lovers of chess as an educational tool, which has introduced the teaching of chess into the school timetable in all the schools of Menorca. The process by which this project was implemented was long and not without difficulties. Different institutions have participated in it and teachers, psychologists, music teachers, artists and of course chess instructors have all collaborated. But if anyone deserves a special mention, it is the children who have made a total success of the project with their reception of it, their enthusiasm, their teaching and their active participation.
